About

The first project I remember was in year 2 (age 7.) I was asked by the school to draw a big Ganesh for the classroom wall. In year 3 (age 8) I painted a water colour giraffe that is still in the headteacher's office. When I'd go to my friends houses for tea, I would bring paper from my Dad's printer and we'd draw cartoon after cartoon of funny scenarios. In school I'd get in trouble, but internals weren't a bad thing because I got to draw at a desk all day.

At GCSE a had only 1 year instead of 2 and achieved 2 B's in Fine Art and Graphics. At A Level I further achieved an A in Fine Art, an A in photography and a C in English Literature (Damn King Lear.) From then I went to do my Foundation course where I reached a Merit grade.

Today I'm currently studying Illustration Year 3 at The University of Edinburgh | Edinburgh College of Art.

I've been a part time cleaner for 3 years. The job is perfect whilst doing my studies. The times are flexible as i acquire a key, I potter around to music whilst I do my chores and with the remaining time I usually sit down and do some drawing. Sometimes I leave doodles for the office workers the next day hoping to put a smile on their face.

I love rats, cats and dogs.

My favourite illustrators include Chris Riddell, Quentin Blake and Brett Helquist however these are merely the ones whom have inspired me most. The list of illustrators and artists that I admire is endless and grows every day. I appreciate all forms of art.
